I first of all would like to thank you and Mrs. Katie for a wonderful hunting experience while I was in from Illinois. I have never met anyone that has taken the time to really know the lay of the land like you do. I mean every stand location you could tell us exactly what the deer movement is and what we could expect to see if the weather and the deer are cooperating. For instance #5 stand, before we went out you told us that a big 140 BC buck frequently comes out to the plot right before dark. You even told us when to be ready and how far away he is from the blind. Sure enough right before dark he stepped out onto the plot. All I can say, it was amazing! It was getting too dark on us to take a shot without being positive of the shot location so we decided to pass on the deer. This happened a few times on our hunt were the darkness saved a few deer. That is exactly why they call it hunting! I can not stress enough to your clients on how much pride and determination you put into your management to insure that they will see deer and have the best hunting experience of their life. I did not take a deer due to the fact that we were waiting for the big boys. If I wanted to fill the coolers on your land I would say that we could have done that the first morning of our hunt. The food we ate way too much of was better than any home cooked meals that I have ever experienced. Mark is a cook and I am sure that Mrs. Katie has taught him well. She sure does know the way to a man’s heart with those desserts. Most of all, my buddy Chris and I could not stop talking on the long trip home about how much we felt like family and were treated like kings. When you leave Mt Creek Outfitters you have a whole new outlook on not only hunting but your personal life as well. Memories of a life time that I will never forget. A friendship was made in a few days that will last a life time. My name is Wayne Kirby and I have my own hunting show, Lewis and Clark Adventures. My trip to Mt Creek Farm and Outfitters was one of the best trips I have been on. I am always under pressure during deer season to produce good footage and lay down some big bucks. Plus when you are going some where to hunt you never know how it is going to be. I have to say I have never felt more like I was at home then on this trip. From the awesome lodging and amazing food or just hanging out with Mark. We saw a lot of deer and busted a few does. The weather was a little off from what we wanted, but the bucks are definitely there. We also saw a lot of small bucks. The one thing that really impressed me most was the effort that was put forward to make it a great experience and to get a buck. I can’t wait to go back next year. --W. Kirby

I felt compelled to send you a big thank you for making my hunting experience such a good one.  I hunted with you twice this year, and I also brought a friend the second time.  I must say it was one of the best experiences I have had with an outfitter. 

I have hunted several ranches and properties all over Texas.  Since moving to North Carolina, I have not seen too many locations that have the reputation of producing big deer consistently.  However, you have them.  You property is loaded with evidence.  In my relatively short time in the woods, we found scrapes and rubs everywhere.  We found some sheded antlers that any hunter would be proud to have on their wall.  We also saw pictures on your trail cams that had my knees shaking. 

Having the deer is one thing, but being set up to see them is something else.  I have not seen too many ranches set up so well.  Your stands are set up in great locations.  All stand and blinds are set up on well traveled trails, and your food plots and feeders give them a good reason to drop by.  The stands are comfortable and provide a steady shooting set up. 

One of my concerns about hunting an unknown property with hunters I don't know is safety.  I can say with confidence that you ensure the safety for your hunters.  From how you get hunters on stand to blind placement to your harnesses, you make sure a great experience is not ruined by an accident.

While the opportunity to see good deer is great, I am not sure that the hunting is the best part of the experience.  Let's face it; there are a lot of outfitters that could not care less about the hunter.  You represent everything they are not.  You may not be able to control the weather or the minds of the animals, but you take personal pride in making everything else as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.  The bunk house is as comfortable as any I have been to.  The food is excellent.  I still think that if you had a picture of your wife's chocolate pie on your website you would sell out every spot for the season.  To top it off, you are truly a great guy.  You are re, and have great values.  You and your wife are as easy to talk to as anyone I have met.  After 5 minutes on my first night with you, I felt like family.  Many outfitters claim to take care of their guests, but you truly deliver.  While I saw a lot of deer, I think your spectacular hospitality truly makes for a great experience. 

Hunters have a lot of choices of where to spend their hard earned money to hunt.  I could not give Mountain Creek Outfitters a stronger recommendation.  I would encourage any hunter that is looking for a great opportunity to take a trophy of a lifetime in a comfortable, safe environment where you want to be treated like family to go hunting with you.  I am already planning on booking a couple trips with you next year, and I can safely say that I could not be looking forward to my next experience with you.  Thank you for giving me and my friends such a great place to hunt.  --David Smith

Even though my son and I spent only one day with you, the entire experience exceeded my expectations.  The bunkhouse completes the "Deer Camp" experience.  I appreciate how accommodating you were to my son and me, from the hunts, the hunting knowledge given in conversation, and the meals that you and your wife cooked for us.  My son still tells my wife how good your venison spaghetti was.  I can not think of anything to tell you to improve upon our experience.  Even though my son was unsuccessful in harvesting his first deer, I can tell that your property has quality deer hunting.  I will definitely be back next season.  Thanks again.  --Carson Lynn

The hunt that I booked with Mt Creek Farm & Outfitters was wonderful. The hospitality was awesome and the home cooked meals you and Mrs. Katie prepared were worth making the hunt a success by itself. I saw numerous deer and several bucks. Considering the full moon and 80 degree days, my hunt was a success!!! I would recommend a guided hunt to anyone, as well as be booking a hunt, hopefully this coming 2011 season. It was first class all the way!!!!  I want to thank you for a wonderful hunt. I had a great time and had several opportunities to put meat in the cooler but was waiting on the big boy I saw on your trail camera. The stand you put me in was very comfortable and even though It was warm and we got a late start which was no fault I saw lots of action. The bunkhouse was also very nice.
